Two Slurry TBMs measuring 6.7 m in diameter which, from Al Ahramat Station (in the shadow of the Pyramids of Giza) head towards the centre of Cairo before reaching El Mesaha Square station. Undercrossings of sensitive areas in the Cairo sands are planned on the 4.5 km of excavation of each drive.
