World record for monthly output of mechanised tunnel excavation, 2333 m excavated and lined in one month of work, a record still unbeaten.
In this project, SELI Overseas developed “separate space” backup technology, designed by the company to increase the safety and productivity of the TBMs.
The extraordinary output levels achieved testify to the efficiency of the new backup system, and the absence of accidents in the tunnel supports the general “separate space” backup approach.
