The main tunnel of the new railway line between Tel Aviv and Jerusalem speaks Italian.
For this railway project, the first in Israel to include the use of mechanised excavation technology, Italian general contractor Pizzarotti chose SELI Overseas as the specialist subcontractor for the excavation of the two parallel tunnels with double shield TBMs.
This project consolidated SELI’s expertise and executive capacity in the railway tunnel sector, a sector that is now a driving force in Italy and worldwide.
